Reboot start up ?

Hi
When my box crashes or freezes I have to reboot,
so I switch off at the rocker switch,but only a red light on the front shows,
it then take numerous attempts to then start.
any idea what the problem is ?

Theres a few posts on this subject on the forum it seems you need to leave it of for a minute or so before turning it back on to clear the cache or summat like that but have a mooch and make your own mind up

but I have left it off for more than a minite sometimes and still just the redlight.

Mine had to be off for 4-5 min before it could boot from deepstandby,the box has been sent back to Vu+ for repair.I think Vu+ know something is faulty but keeps this for themself,just my thinking.
