Hi all,

I re-imaged my GigaBlue 800SE receiver with the latest VIX image, all was going well, receiving channels CCCam installed, On Demand crashed the box when launched, I installed CatsEyes and rebooted and its now stuck in a state of rebooting.

I placed the USB stick in the front slot and can't get it to reimage, when rebooting I get BOOT displayed followed by USB, pressing OK on either doesn't get it to boot from the stick oy just goes to the VIX image and and cycles.

The doesn't get had far a launching the network connection as I can't see it connected

Any Ideas?

Kind Regards

Reformat the USB stick or try another, also try leaving the receiver powered off and unplugged for half a hour.

sounds like it should be creating crash logs.
if so, by default, they are in /home/root/logs/
upload one of the latest ones here & someone might be able to tell you what to remove so the box boots properly again.

Format your usb stick in FAT32 with the HP formatting tool..

Google the bold text for the download link..

Put image 712 on your usb stick.. and insert to box.. Power on box..

You want to the the word CONF displayed on the digital read out of your 800SE..

When you see CONF.. Press the ok button.. Box should flash fine now..
