Hi

Tomorrow's the big day. I've got all my kit and I've a friend (who's good with heights) to do a pole install on a North facing wall with the dish looking South over the house. My plan is to use the satfinder on my phone to point the dish to a sat at 0.5W with the motor set to 0. I'm then going to get my box to point to a strong sat at 5W (which is closest to South from where I am in Ireland) and adjust left/right and elevation on dish to get the strongest signal using a simple meter.

The bit I'm not too sure about is the set up on the box and the calibration/alignment. I know I can set the long/lat in the settings, is there much else I need to know? Am I going about it the right way? I'm paying this guy by the hour so I want things to go as smoothly as possible.

Thanks in advance

I use Urals on my Solo2.
Configuration mode is single
Mode is positioneenter your sat and long.

If everything is done correct dish will give to right sat.
