Online software update

Is there a reason why the online update sometimes finds nothing to upgrade?
Currently on build 692, 708 is out tonight but says nothing to upgrade when I check?

It's very likely that your trying to find updates at times when the feeds are set to unstable without having the "allow unstable updates" option selected in the software update options.
