HELP - New skin Green screen!!

Hi,

Been a total knob!

Added a sking to VIX 1.1 and now I get green screen in a loop

Can still ftp and telnet.

anything I can do to revert back?

nope that happened to me last night with the eclipse skin a reflash is the only way out

how did u add the skin, can u remove the files if added manually.

last choice will be to re-flash ur box

grt depending on who your asking i ftped mine manually and got the error my only way out was to reflash


deleting it manually may work for xewonder thats if the image will then revert to default skin when rebooted

i must have flashed that box 10 times in the last month!

what is the box looking at at bootup?

yes deleting the folder new skin, and reboot.

the hint of deleting the folders worked!

/usr/share/enigma2 deleted all the new skins and powered off.

box cam back up.

This will teach me about messing around without backups!

i had same problems had to reflash - v.1.1 is not stable

Of course it's stable! It's just that when you're messing around with not OE1.6 skins, sh*t happens...

EDIT: OK, read your other post.... perhaps not totally stable yet...
