Red light !!!

Hi, my friend has brought me his vu solo and when i plug it in all i get is the red light on the front, nothing else. I have tried reflashing using a USB but it does nothing at all. I am not sure what he has done, maybe flashed a wrong image, any ideas would be great, thanks

search on this forum for "Red light of death" on the Vu Duo its usually a faulty capacitor. Not sure if same for solo

I never heard of the same problem on the Solo.
