Network issue with Linksys E4200 and VU+SOLO2

Hi All,
I have NTFS formatted hardrive connected to the USB port of my Linksys E4200 router. I can access my files fine using ftp://192.168.0.1 on a webbrowser.
I have now tried to access this drive on my VU+ solo2 using VIX. In the network mount manager I've tried both NFS and CIFS but simply cannot connect to the drive.. Any ideas how I set this up please?

try samba as ntfs is a windows format.

Install Drivers --> NTFS

Try to connect the HDD directly and not via the router. Then you know where the fault is.
