Just use the latest ViX image (i.e. build 705 or later) and follow the instructions in post #1.

I had my new vu+duo2 just Yesterday and I have installed the CFE to update. How can I see in the decoder that upgrade is well done? In my decoder's info there was before and now ever version jun 20 2013 experimental factory and so experimental image 2013 06 20. I can upgrade new software only with USB key or I had to do with computer? What software can I install now ? Exuse me for my question, but I am new for Linus software. Thank you if you can give me some aids!

How did you 'install the DFE to update'?
You upload the bootloader exactly the same way as an image. The process can be followed on the G-VFD.
When done you'll see a short 'Duo2_CFE_V2' on the G-VFD twice during every reboot.
