In VIX, DVT-T tuner can be found and to find channels, but the channels are shown in gray, and the image is not displayed.
I think this is due to the fact that the receiver is recognized as the ATSC tuner and not DVB-T, wherein the receiver type is changed. There are only two possibilities, DVB-C and ATSC.
Same tuner work's fine in Ultimo.
If I try BlackHole 2.04, it works fine.

Can you give us the exact details of the USB-tuner used?

It's not USB tuner, it is VU DVB-T/C internal tuner.

NIM Socket 1:
Type: DVB-S2
Name: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222)
Frontend_Device: 1
NIM Socket 2:

Frontend_Device: 2
NIM Socket 3:

root@vuduo2:~# cat /proc/bus/nim_sockets
NIM Socket 0:
Type: DVB-T
Name: Vuplus DVB-T NIM(CXD1978)
Mode 0: DVB-C
Mode 1: DVB-T
Frontend_Device: 0
NIM Socket 1:
Type: DVB-S2
Name: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222)
Frontend_Device: 1
NIM Socket 2:
Type: DVB-S2
Name: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222)
Frontend_Device: 2

We are looking into this; it looks like a driver problem.
Thanks for reporting.

Not sure about driver, because Black Hole works fine.
And I try to update newest drivers, with no luck.

But i think you know better, hope you find it soon :)

BH uses a completely different E2.We have
It has reported it to VU+ so it's in their hands now. We have to wait.

Thats because BH and VTI for that matter are based directly from Vu's own OE image, meaning a lot of things just work. for all other teams, many things have to be modified or patched or as in the case of drivers wait for Vu patch things them selves.

Ok, i know E2 is different.

Hope they fix it soon, don't want to use black hole or vti.

When I first boot my Duo2 the DVB-T channels are all grayed out and I get an error message telling me to check the tuner settings. However, if I then restart user interface ( Menu -> Standby/Restart -> Restart enigma) all my channels work correctly (both DVB-S2 and DVB-T).

Duo2 with dual DVB-S2 + DVB C/T

hello.
Thanks, but this is a momentary solution.
problem persists after complete restart.
build 710.

Yes, I know. But it might not be a driver problem after all.

And fortunately it doesn't take too long to restart enigma :D

It is a driver issue, VU+ are working on it.

I hope that this driver problem with the internal DVB-T tuner is resolved quickly by Vu+.
Given the length of time from the announcement of this receiver to it hitting the market it is reasonable to expect that any driver issues would have been sorted out prior to launch.

I understand that this problem does not exist with the Blackhole image but I'd ideally prefer to use Vix.
I have set up an external USB DVB-T tuner as a backup in the meantime.

Update on my last post lost the channels again when I reset the box now won't give me the same options anymore and when channel is selected tuner failed. Vix is all I know and other box use the same image so like others I think I wait.

That's strange I always try and keep up to date doing upgrades through the box. dvb t:c shows no tuner aways have to scan and restart enigma for it to show channels. And if you change channel tuner is lost again
