Network mount with space in directory name

is there a way I can mount a directory under mount manager which has a space in between the words i.e. recorded tv?

I have tried recorded\ tv but this seems to cause the box to be in a reboot cycle

Best bet is to name it recorded_tv. It probably doesnt regconise the space hence the bootloop
