by ipk or by menu bar ?

Just stick the IPK on a USB stick when watching live TV (ie. no other menus/screens are open) & you should be given the option to install it.
Other than that, you could ftp it to /tmp on the box, then blue button -> ViX -> Instal local extension.

HI quick question

With all the web trash about CCcam 2.3 is it safe to use or not and which version of CCcam do WOS members prefer on STB????????

I personally use CCcam 2.2.1, no particular reason other than it's what i have used for a long time, although i do know a good few people who use the latest version 2.3.0 all without issue and with no proof of the rumoured "backdoor".

Been using 2.3.0 for quite some time now and never had any issues

For the Dutch and Belgian providers we had to use 2.3 from the very beginning; works flawless.

What do you mean Phoenix 'backdoor'?

There are rumours of a supposed backdoor in CCcam that surface every time a new version is released, to this date these rumours have never been proven so they remain just that rumours likely spread by rival softcam teams.

Net rumour there is. Backdoor to the cam bug NO proof of one.
