Hi Guys,

I'm really having problem to stream my Vu+ Tv to my pc.
I have the latest Vix image.
I tried in IE to past the IP address of my Vu+, and I would get the following message:

Request failed for: /web-data/tpl/default/tplNavTv.htm
Status: 404 Not Found

tried Ctrl +F5 , firefox, etc.. nothing is working.

if I click on WebTV button on the right it will give me this message :

Request failed for: /web/getservices?sRef=1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:(type == 1) || (type == 17) || (type == 195) || (type == 25) FROM BOUQUET "bouquets.tv" ORDER BY bouquet

Moreover, I tried to past the IP address:

in VLC, so it would ask me for the username (root) and password, and afterwards nothing.... click on the play button and nothing happens.

Am I missing a plugin or setup on my Vu+, that I'm not aware of.

XMBC, takes alot of time to load the channels and doesn't work on 90 % of the channels.

I would appreciate you advise on fixing the web streaming through IE.

Thanks
T.K.

First things first & sorry to sound pedantic, but "I have the latest Vix image" really means nothing.
Build number & more steps on how to reproduce the issue would help get a solution a lot faster...

Hi Judge,

You are right, the version number is: openvix-3.0.702.

as for the steps to reproduce the problem:
I'm just logging from my pc to the receiver's IP address, so I didn't do any setup or changed anything on the receiver.
As i mentioned in my first post:
1- In IE I paste the IP address of the vu duo
2- on the top of the page in red I would receive the message : "Request failed for: /web-data/tpl/default/tplNavTv.htm Status: 404 Not Found" & 2 seconds later "Request failed for: /web-data/tpl/default/tplServiceListEPGItem.htm Status: 404 Not Found" (attached couple of pictures. )
3- Tried it in Firefox - the same problem.

So vu duo is working perfectly, but the problem with the streaming to my PC, watching TV from my PC on the local network through the Vu duo.

is there any plugin or anything that I need to install on the Vu duo.

Cheers.

Apparently you have the webinterface-old installed. Please de-install it, reboot the box and you'll be fine.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your reply, I uninstalled the Webinterface-old plugin. restarted the Vu Receiver.
and still have the same problem, same errors.

Cheers.

WEB-IF old might have left some residues.
You could try to flash the box (make a settings backup now that that plugin has been de-installed) and use that to restore.

You tried clearing the cache of your browsers?

Hi Rob,

Now it is giving me "page not found", "The connection was reset" on Firefox.

Any idea?

Well, not really (assuming WEB-IF is enabled).
You might try:
1- an other IP-address;
2- reboot the router

I know this is an old thread, but while searching for an answer to this I found that if you open "open webif" in the plugins menu you will find that "https" is not checked. check this, restart enigma and all should be ok.
