View Full Version : Using a LNB splitter on the Solo2 ?

Hello,

I would like to know if I can use a simple LNB Splitter to send the same satellite feed to the Vu+ Solo2 LNB inputs ?

So there will be 1 cable coming from my dish, into a splitter, to the 2 LNB inputs of the Solo2. Would that work just fine ?

Thanks a lot,
Daniel.

no it would not work, and worse still you could potentially cause damage to both the receiver and LNB if you did use such a splitter.

you need two separate and independent feeds, if thats not possible connect the feed to tuner B and set tuner A as loopthrough to tuner B, this will give you more options but it's no where as good as having proper feeds going to each tuner.

Thanks a lot phoenix.

I have also just discovered about this internal loop-through feature.
That's exactly what I wanted as I want to replace my ET9500 (with 2 independent tuners and an external loop-through cable) for a Solo2 :-)

Or a unicable/scr LNB, but they ain't cheap.
