I will be with out internet for a few days,is it possible to connect with a vodafone dongle?

Not on the VU+ Duo, no.

Not directly connected to the VU+, but I would expect if you have a PC or laptop, running the dongle on that, and connecting the VU+ through connection sharing would work.

is your vu connect through an ethernet cable or wireless to your original network.
