View Full Version : Logitech Harmony + GB Quad

Hey, was wondering if anybody knows the best setup for the LG Harmony 900 to be used with GB Quad?

I see the database has config for the 800 HD - would this work, as it doesn't have a current pre-defined setup for the Quad HD?

I had a brief trial of setting it up based on choosing what functions remote has and pressing the remote buttons next to the Harmony so it can create it, but this didn't work as planned. I have to use the touchscreen menu to exit menus, power on/off, and a few other things that there are buttons for, but didn't seem to take.

Any help appreciated...

I have a Harmony 650 and mine works fine with the 800 HD from the database, I think I let it learn a couple of buttons which were not present on the 800 HD from the database.

Brilliant, I'll give that a go... could you confirm whether the long power press brings up shutdown menu, and short press puts it into standby please? I wont be at mine again until tonight :/ Thanks

I have the 700 (more or less the same as the 650 but with a charger)
The Quad was listed I'm sure :confused:

Just checked, the Quad is there ;)
Listed as "GigaBlue HD 800 Quad"

Ah ha... I didnt realise the QUAD was an "800" - I thought they were a different range altogether! N00B! :/

I've seen it advertised as a 800 Quad in Germany.

Yeah, I realised it is on GigaBlue website - but not on the sponsor site which is what gave me the idea it was a different series. Oh well - Im glad to be wrong - saves manually programming the damn thing!

Did you ever manage to figure out how to get the Harmony to emulate the Video or F.List buttons of the original GB remote, to get the list of recordings displayed?

It's about the only think I can't figure out using a Harmony 650 with or GB Quad.

Can't you just pick an unused button and assign that task ?
