hello, as the title suggests, I can not get mgcamd to work properly, looked thru countless posts on various forums, tried various mg.config variations but still NADA, my cccam 2.3 clears what is supposed to, but the same cant be said about mgcamd using the same entries (yes, changed N: to CWS =)

my config attached:27421

thank you.

Sorry to harp on about this invarious threads, but when you or anyone else reports an issue, can you also please report the image & build number being used.
Also, a search of the forums can help. The box you have reported this issue for (guessing by where it's posted) is known to have issues with latest drivers used in recent builds, including todays 696 build.
Also, in your report above, there is no mention of the mgcamd version being used, so any replies/solutions would only be guessing & relating in pointless threads/replys.

If you want to use the latest released ViX build on a TmTwin (currently 696), it's sadly advised that you need to manually downgrade the drivers to a 683 or maybe 685 build.
This is out of our control until TM issue us new working drivers & as far as I'm aware enigma2-plugin-cams-mgcamd.1.35a_1.0-r3_mipsel.ipk (http://www.world-of-satellite.com/enigma2/openvix/index.php?dir=ViX-Softcams/&file=enigma2-plugin-cams-mgcamd.1.35a_1.0-r3_mipsel.ipk) should work perfectly on this set-up.

Besides that, just out of interest, if you have Cccam working fine, why do you want to use mgcamd? does it decrypt channels Cccam can't?

sorry, forgot, vix build 683, mgcamd 1.38 DL from WOS, cccam is a tad flakey, also, I have a mix of c,n and a few keys, cccam wont do them all, but I have been informed that mgcamd will and is a lot quicker/more stable.

Sounds like a cs issue rather than a box/image issue so.
