team red released an image today with some newer quad drivers dated 01-07-2013 for kernel 3.3.6.
This Release Includes:

• 1.7.2013 GBQUAD driver

they arent on openmips site yet so i thought id have a play and try them on vix. so far so good.

im going to try some of the issues i had with previous drivers later to see if any improvement but if anyone wants a try ive attached the dvb.ko file.
ive also attached the bootloader, im not sure if this is a necessary step but i did it anyway to load up the teamred image.

it remains to be seen if these are actually newer drivers than the previous set.

dvb-c is now working properly again
so they must be updated drivers.

Rossi did you run lastest driver in vix, or does it require lastest bootloader ?.

Bootloader isn't needed for drivers ;)

i had to update the bootloader to load up teamreds image to get the drivers from it
so my bootloader was already updated before trying the drivers on vix.

but as marty confirms above, you dont need the bootloader loading.

So, teamred isn't using 3.8.3 then?
