Infobar Vix.

Hi Folks,

I recently done a Reflash of Vix to Build 668 and a Fresh set up, i know this may sound petty but on the Channel Infobar (when i press the Ok Button) at Left corner where you would normally see the Vix Logo, the little square box is blank any ideas how i could get the whole Infobar looking as it did prior to Reflash...

Yeah mate..it's the little square box on the left hand side of the Infobar that says either Openvix, Virtuosso Image Xtreme in it depending on which Skin your using..

you need to install a picon pack.

extract the archive to your desktop and ftp the folder inside named picon directly to the root of your USB stick, the image will detect the picons automatically and they should display when you change channel etc.

But if no picons are installed, the ViX-logo should show. If I understand OP correct, that is not the case.

Fine for me on Twin build 688, using default Vix-Night-HD skin. Two pics shown one with picon, one without.

Hi,

Is it the place reserved for the 'picon' (logo of the station) and is it missing? You can disable picons in the settings. Press menu while the infobar shows

Is there a correct location of where to store the picons on the internal memory? I just save the folder on the root of the internal memory.

Indeed: ' /picon ' is the correct location (for flash or any device).

Yes, sure. For ViX anyway.

But since it works for you, /usr/share/enigma2/picon is apparently allowed as well.

Hi guys the Picon folder transferred into usr/share/enigma ok but No coloured picons showing in Infobar it's only working if I leave USB stick in receiver. Any ideas folks..

It should be /usr/share/enigma2/picon
You did restart E2?
Else use /picon as that is the default location.

No Rob there's definitely no /usr/share/enigma2/picon
Yes i did Restart Enigma but still no Picons of any kind left hand side of infobar blank.
Where exactly is the /picon default location Rob
Odd why it works off the USB stick no problem
