Can anyone please help me set up two dishes with twin tuners?

I have a motorised dish and a fixed dish (because the motorised dish is obstructed from seeing 28E) but I'm not sure how to set up the tuners correctly. When I had a single tuner Solo it was straightforward enough to use a diseqc switch with committed diseqc commands. But now I have a twin tuner I'd like to be able to watch from one dish and record from the other and vice versa.

I'm guessing I'll need to convert the dishes to twin LNB, but then there's the tuners settings; second cable of motorised LNB, loopthrough and equal to tuner A. I can't find any guide to what these mean.

Has anyone else been able to set up two dishes this way?

I presume your fixed dish is for 28.2E only?
In this setup the motor can only be used for one dish.

So I would use your present setup to connect to Tuner A and use the same settings as you used to do.
Then in your fixed dish replace the LNB by a twin-LNB; one cable goes exactly as it is now; the second cable goes to tuner B (set to use 28.2 fixed only). Leave 'preferred tuner' to 'auto'.
