Anyone know an easy fix for a dim red light on Comtrend home plug / Network adapter..

Its the status light.. and no others light up at all..

I got some of those.
Dim red status light is usually a bad signal between AP and client. I get this if 1 is upstairs and downstairs, on a different ring main I guess, as I have a separate fuse in my consumer unit for upstairs and downstairs.
I had to plug mine into the same double socket in order to initially set them up
