Using hd on my duo to record

I have my MaxDigital XP1000 upstairs with no hd. Its linked to my duo thats downstairs. I have nfs share that lets me view my duos recordings on my xp1000.

Can I record programs on my xp1000 by utilising the network linked hd thats in my duo?

menu> setup> system> recording settings> you should be able to change the path from here.
