Hey folks.

Another newbie here so thanks for having me.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of any beginners guides/info please. Ideally something that explains the differences between things like the different types of firmware, vix etc and what is this Emigma2 business.

There is no real one fits all guide to explain all the ins and outs of these boxes, but hey thats what were here for so if you have questions aks them.

Enigma2 is a linux based operating system that is used to power these receivers, ViX is kind of a GUI or graphical user interface for Enigma2.
