Time out for tuner lock

hi, guys think ive seen this prob before but never seen if it was resolved.
only had box a week with preinstalled HDD . everything set up except my region n/e and getting news weather etc n/w . so reset area via autoboquets . did an autoscan, then scan via autobouquets and still same message TIME OUT FOR TUNER LOCK, which sticks at about 40% scan. all other channels fine just the local .

What is your current Tuner setup ?.

you can find this by going to Menu> Setup> Service searching> Tuner configuration.

Do you have a motorised dish connected to on of the tuners?

I get this message when my motor is pointing at a different sat even though I have a fixed dish at 28.2e.

If I send my motor to 28.2e then run abm it's works. Hope this helps

and tuner B same as A as only have one feed at mo. and it is a fixed dish and have vix image

I am having the same problem and tried the above but it isnt removing the HD channels.Any advise?

Same here still see all the HD stuff which means you gotta pick through the EPG.
