Is there a way to reset my duo to how it was the day I bought it ?( minus the nice new open package smells, I know I can't have that:D) An easy way would be nice as I a bit daft.?

What image did it come supplied with & does it have the same image on it now?

yes, simply reflash a new image.

vix 3.0, I reflashed it last wk and was told that doesn't do it properly. Thanks for your your reply

ViX 3.0 is currently on build 683.
Grab the latest available image from http://openvix.co.uk
& do a fresh flash.
A flash of any new image will reset all options of that image to default (unless you use a back-up image or restore any back-ups when or after flashing)

If you want it looking like the day it came out of the factory, than you need to flash with the OI from VU+. If you only want a blank canvas of the VIX image, than just flash the image with no setting restore etc.

OK , I have cottoned on that OI is the original image my duo came with. I have no idea how to trace it and I can't remember what it was other than it was this time last year and it was vix. Any suggestions.

OI would be the original image the box was originally supplied with.
All VU+ OI images can be found on:

http://www.vuplus.com/

Saying that, your retailer could have easily supplied the box with an image of your or their choice.
But as you say it came with ViX pre-installed, as mentioned a few times above, flash it with the latest version of ViX, links above.
