Vix 3.0 Vu+ solo EPG problem

hello i have a Vu+ solo running the latest version of vix all is great but i have 1 problem
when i set the box to auto download epg data it crashed at 8.20mb reading data
every time the clock triggers the epg to download the data it crashes. i have to pull plug on box to get it to turn off.
any one know where i have gone wrong?
i set up the epg following the tutorial on the site so it should all be ok

Solo has not so much RAM. Have you tried activating swap?

blue button> vix> swap manager.

basically it allows the receiver to use a portion of a installed USB stick / HDD as a substitute for R.A.M.
