How to record one programm and watch completely different one

Dear Vu Duo users,
I am trying to find out how to configure vu duo to be able to record one canal and watch completely different one in the same time.
Now, during recording, when I want to watch something different, I can choose from very limited set of channels. Most of the channels are grayed out.

I have one dish and Ive configured tuner A for one satellite - Hotbird, and tuner B take signal as pass-trough form tuner B.
Is that correct?
I am using Gigant Image.
Please help :)

You need at least a twin output LNB otherwise you will only be able to watch/record channels on the same transponder, hence greyed out.

Just to be clear because i was having same problem .
You need to have 2 cables from the lnb 1 to tuner A and the other 1 to tuner B.
Otherwise as sicillian has said you just get the option of watching channels that are on same transponder as what you are recording ,and set both tuners up not as pass through.
