backing up timers

Hi all,
Been having a few problems with my solo2 recently so have decided I am going to do a fresh install.
The wife has a lot of timers setup so I need to back them up beforehand. Is it just a case of copying timers.xml and autotimers.xml from etc/enigma2 directory?

Yes it is.
But stop E2 before FTPing the files (telnet 'init4') and restart E2 when done (telnet 'init 3').
