Hi folks,

Have been receiving this fine but yesterday when i tuned to the channel it said invalid PAT ID.. the usual message you get when a station has moved frequency.. so i retuned the box.. did an auto scan but the channel was not showing anything.. was SKy Disney HD off the air yesterday or something ? The SD channel was working fine..

Frequency change, although for some reason none of the usual sites have it listed yet and ABM did not pick it up. a manual scan will retune it easily enough.

ABM picked it up for me today (set for 6AM scan) but the picon no longer works ;)

The picon is the easy bit, just change the channel reference data on the picon to 1_0_19_F3C_7E8_2_11A00000_0_0_0

Again a frequency change but that was picked up fine for me with ABM.

Been sometime since I have been here, hope all are well.

I have the problem as well with these channels, I have done a manual scan but still getting the pat id.

Does abm mean auto bouquet maker? I have never used this plug in, I have catseye.
Any suggestions please?

Please note a Dummies guide would help me a lot!

yes ABM = AutoBouquetMaker.

Have a read of this it will give you a good idea of how to setup ABM ( not quite finished but it will help ).

Yes ABM will fully automate the process of creating and maintaining your channel bouquets.

Yes.. ABM will give you a completley new set of up to date bouquets

Thank you for the abm user guide Phoenix, very easy to follow.

Head scratching time then! :confused:

Neither a manual scan or the ABM has resolved my problem. Channels still not working. Try and work on it tomorrow with a fresh mind.

Sometimes a reboot is required.. To refresh your channellist..

Did you do a scan in ABM.. ??

Yes, did it twice, said downloading and reading, after any updates I tend to restart the box. I have also restarted enigma and other various boot options, still no joy.

I also tried software updates, says nothing to update.

did you actually see the scan doing it job..

just before it goes back to the scan set up screen.. you should see something like :

Services : 552 video - 63 radio

You able to see that.. ?

Thats exactly what all of mine do.. And all of them updated fine..

Not sure why yours is doing this..

im clutching at straws here.. Is your build totally up to date.. ?

Build 680.. ?

Okay, now I'm lost, how do I find out the Build Number please?

I think the ABM did update properly as I am not getting sid not found anymore on select and Disney HD channels anymore,, that was coming up before updating the ABM, I just get a blank screen now, looks like the frequencies have updated. The SD channels work . . . .

I do the software updates maybe twice a week so i am presuming that upgrades the build?

Hello

Is there an easy way to work out what a renamed picon should be called when a station moves frequencies?

I have quite a few out (Dave HD and Watch HD must have moved too)

yes.

Menu> information> ( service ID ) not sure on that last one as i'm not near a receiver to verify, you will see the service reference like so 1:0:19:F3D:7E0:2:11A00000:0:0:0 just change it to 1_0_19_F3D_7E0_2_11A00000_0_0_0 and thats what you need to rename the picon to.
