venton hd1 tuner fail ??

hi guys a bought a venton hd1 of wow a few weeks ago, but its having a strange thing where the tuner will fail after about 10 mins , when I un screw the cable and screw it back on or even reboot the box the channels are fine again for ten mins ??? any help will be appreciated, I don't wanna send back just yet

Dodgy cable by the sounds of it, try cutting off a few inches and refit the F-plug :)

I'd say as above, also check your LNB.

Single or twin tuner? If twin, swap your tuners in the slots and check.

yeah its a quad lnd standard I was thinking it might be that, I will try it in another house and see if its ok there, that I will know if its box or the lnb/cables
