hey guys

Just thought I would ask if this is possible

Can recordings be setup to record in avi mode rather than the .ts file it is now? Just thought I would ask see if it was possible as it would save a hell of a lot of time having to convert videos.

The only boxes I could see being able to do that would be the duo 2 and solo 2, because of their ability to transcode... but I think it very unlikely it will happen

This will never happen: a TS-file (Transport Stream) is an exact copy of what has been transmitted (including a.o. TT-data and much more). There is no way this could be packaged in any other format.
