Main Menu on Wake from Standby

Each time the box is switched on from standby, the main menu appears over the last channel watched.
Is there any way to turn this functionality off so you just see the tv channel without having to press exit?
It's not a major issue - just a nice to have :)

This should not be the case at all. What build number are you on? And how do you switch the box on? With the original R/C?

I do have HDMI CEC enabled - if that makes any difference. Using original remote, yes.
