Hard reset?

Hello there,

Can anyone please tell me whether a 'hard' reset facility is available for the TM-2T box or whether a TM boot utility exists for this purpose?

I am using VIX image and everything is now great apart from a problem with settings I cannot, despite trying, resolve.

When I 'initialise' with the VIX image it deleted most things but not everything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What exactly is it your trying to achive as a factory reset or image overwrite will get it to a virgin state but you will lose all settings

Initialize refers to the Hard Disk, this basically formats the HDD but wont touch any thing else such as plugins or settings loaded into the receivers flash memory. As stanman says simply flashing a new image will wipe the receiver before flashing the new image, which is more than sufficient although this wont touch any content stored on the HDD.
