hi guys ..just joined ..got myself vu solo from fleabay .. but unfortunately think its a clone ..just looking for some info on this box ..if I can upgrade firmware safely ..thanx:cool:

we can help you establish if the unit is genuine or not. if it's genuine we will help you in any way that we can, if its a clone then we cant help and will close the thread.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but we cant and wont offer support for cloned hardware.

for starters is there any where on the receiver a sticker pointing towards a URL to obtain working images or a V2.0 / v3.0 sticker ??.

Biggest giveaway will be price unless seller was trying to pass it off as an orginal in which case raise a dispute with ebay

hi .thanx for reply .well looks like I have clone ..not to botherd about it ..as I am fairly new to Linux boxes .it will give me something to play around with .yes expensive toy to break ..as I am not 100% sure of what I am doing ..lol , think there is clone firmware out there !! thanx gen ..
