my VU+solo keeps on crashing - how can I move EPG to HDD
My VU+ solo keeps on crashing and someobody said that probably my memory is full and EPG has to move to my HDD rather than remain in flash memory.
Can someone tell me how to do that? where is all the EPG files stored and how can I set mmy solo for EPG to be stored on HDD ?
thank you:baby:

You could try deleting your EPG files from your flash.. and install it onto your usb or HDD
doer it has to saved in the HDD with a specific directory and file name ?

No.. when setting up your EPG info.. Just point it to save to media/hdd
I take it you have a USB HDD attached.. ??
you can pick where it gets saved hdd usb or flash in the epg settings in the menu
oops to slow
I have attached an HDD and at present I use to safe back up. I am new to that so will have to give me more directions how to set up my sat to save to HDD under the file Media/hdd. can you give me step b y step directions to the menu?
so if i use a vuccconnect with my sat boc then go to etc/enigma2/crossepg can i delele the big file inthere with the name crossepgdescroptors.db as it has a size of 24,744,132. or that will create a problem to my sat and make it stop working?

Yes.. Delete anything in there to do with cross epg..
Then : Menu > Set Up > System > EPG > Settings
Change Internal Flash to media/hdd
Green button to save.. Then just do your download..
sorry but I have just gone to Menu > Set Up > System > but I have no EPG choice there ... so I can select settings ..
