As far as I know Xtrend didn't show anything on the recent Anga. I only heard rumours about a new box, but I would be really surprised to see it hit the market this year (if it does at all).
And besides: Xtrend has got a very bad name in the area of (hardware) support. So not sure if that would change with a new box.

Really where did you get that from??
As you have implied (hardware) the firmware support has been good and comtinues.
On hardware at least the boxes deliver unlike say Giga or I have to say the VU boxes based on all the issues
I can only remember one real big screw up on tuners for some special channels.
thinking of buying a new box and have had my et9200 for 18 months and have had no problems with it and want to stick to xtrend but i suppose i will to wait and see what happens with vu+ duo2

Firmware support is good. And no reason to believe it will stop.
And if you didn't have any hardware problems, you also haven't run into problems around (failing) hardware support LOL
