how to change remote control button layout ?

hi , i would like to know if its possible to change my remote control button layout style to a be more like my old dreambox remote style.
i tried to install pauli plugin , but every time i do the image freezes . i tried on Vti and Vix images .

think this is in file keymap.xml
this can be found in /usr/share/enigma2

make a copy (backup) of the file before u edit it just in case anything goes wrong u can retrieve it

You can change it in the cool tv guide setup!

Is it possible to change the blue button so it opens the softcam / CI meny

There is more than one keymap and which one is used is dependant on which mode you are in, i.e. Normal viewing, EPG mode, Media player etc,

Forgot to say if you use Filezilla to search the remote files for keymap you will find them, Make sure you make backups first and note the location of the original file

I didn't know that it was more than 1 keymap file.
Have just download all with filezilla, i will post it if i get it to work.

I checked out the other keymaps files but now i give up.
Could not find out where to mapto, also checked the setup.xml and meny.xml.

Time to open a wine, realaks and watch some Tv :)

I'm imagining you would have to restart engima to get the changes to apply, have you been doing this?

Use the plugin pauli neutrino, easy to change keymap + much more.

I always restart after every change in keymap.xml, one by one.

Did not find it in plugin download for vix, but will try to find last version and install.

I just tried the pauli plugin, but i am not sure about this, what i can change to get the blue button=softcam meny
I can not find it.
I upload the picture that i see in pauli meny.
I don't find any thing to change about the blue button or the other colored buttons.

Will try the multiquickbutton next if this doesn't work.

Edit: I am not sure if i found the right pauli plugin version, i didn't find pauli neutrino, but i installed enigma2-plugin-extensions-pauli_7.1_all.ipk.
It hang after install, but after restart it showed in meny.

Just downloaded multiquickbutton from another forum , couldt not find it here.
It was a zip file called standard_belegung_v275.zip ,, after i extraxt it it have a folder called MultiQuickButton. But in that folder it is about 40-50 different files.
How to install this.
Could anyone point me to the multiquickbutton i need bcoz the one i find is not correct i quess.
Vix is almost perfect, but when my wife or my kids call me at work"""tv is not working - How To Restart Cam""

ftp to tmp folder
go to menu/setup/vix/ipk installer and press ok
reboot box
press menu and it is located at bottom. then change from existing keymap to your preference and save

I would just like to point out that the Pauli plugin completely corrupted my VIX image as described earlier in this thread. I had to rebuild from scatch after installing. I haven't tried multiquickbutton yet, will try in the morning. Any comments on the desired functionality being achieved without compromising the image is welcome.

grimm70 what exactly is going on on your channel behind the menu on those screen dumps? :D

multiquickbutton can do nice things but i'm afraid that you can't add softcam menu to blue panel
