UDF driver

Is there any reason why a UDF 2.5 driver can't be added to Enigma2 images to allow BD ISO playback? I've got a dual core 1.3GHz processor in the Gigablue which should have the muscle for playback if the ISOs can be mounted.

There appears to be a read only linux UDF 2.5 driver available

I currently have a RTL1186 based box to playback but would love to slim down to just one device that does both Satellite and Disk Images

There seems to be a package available "enigma2-plugin-extensions-bludiscplayer" for Dreambox's but it may be closed source? It contains a static object and some python to build in the extension
