sd pic on vix 1.1 image tunning

i have now just reinstalled this image but i think the sd pic is pretty grainy, does anyone have any tips on how to fine tune the pic,i have installed auto resolution,but dont know what the settings should be
on,and what the settings should be on on video enhancement settings, i could do with some helpon this matter please

There is a sharpness adjustment in the menus(AV settings). You can use this to softten the image a touch.
There is also scaler sharpness(if upscaling SD)/Block noise adjustment(for low bit broadcasts)/Mosquito Noise reduction(helsp if the picture looks like crawling ants etc)
Have a play and see if it helps...

Hi mate

Thats the beauty of HD once you see it you find it hard to watch SD ever again. What you have to remember is that alots of programs you see on satellite are quite old even before digital came in so when setting up i wud suggest ukgold or ones that show old programmes to tweek your viewing then maybe stick to hd lol
