Now "it" has been taken off again, I notice a massive improvement in refresh times.
Earlier when "it" was still running, there were still some long refresh times, but not as bad as yesterday.
Now it's like lightening. :)
And I just know you're sitting there waiting for my input :)

I think we're going to have to go without these shoutbox's that are made for SMF. Just slow the forums down. I'm now looking into a possible upgrade to vBulletin, but before we upgrade I need to test a few few things and make sure we can import everything from the forums we're currently using.

I'll keep you all posted.

Well I think I found what was causing the issue, anyone still experiencing any speed/lag issues?

Right i'm going to re-install the shoutbox again at 4pm provided no more lag issues appear, I think I finally got to the bottom of it :)
