Good day all,

Hope this question is apropriate on this forum. (I love this forum btw)

Ever since i bought my VU+ duo serveral months ago, I can not get my "softcams" to run without freezing my picture.

Tried CCCam (all versions available) and Mgcamd (all versions avaialble)

Tried many different C lines and variations from "friends" on the internet.

Tried most of the VU+ images with the same result.

Question is... is it a problem with the VU+? I really don't think its my internet connection.

But all the "friends" out there would not be there if every receiver was freezing like mine...

Anyone with the same problem?

Thanks

Who is your ISP and what speed is your Broadband ? run the tests here as it does sound like an ECM speed issue

Have you tried a config file with just clines and have you tried using it in conjunction with a prio file

Your not getting a good response to your questions because CS discussion is not allowed on here however bear in mind the following

0. Subscribe to a local service
1. Stay away from Free Servers as they are often overloaded amongst other things
2. Some payservers are very good but eventually end up overloaded
3. there is no substitute for real 'friends' but to get some you need to get yourself a local subscription card so you can be friendly as well
4. Dont use wireless from your box to your router as the bandwidth is not sufficient to sustain good ecm times if you are using other wireless equipment
5. Google is your friend

Thanks for that...

I have alleviated the problem by using an OSCAM - MGCAMD combination.

OSCAM seems to go out and query all the "c-lines" and give best result to MGCAMD

Not perfect, but much better than CCCam alone.

Thanks
