streaming on nexus 10

Is there anyone here managed to successfully stream HD to a nexus 10? I can do SD fine no problems but HD is unwatchable.

WiFi network seems OK and up to the job as it's fine on my i7 laptop.

I've tried a few different player's MX player, vlc and the vu app internal player?

Probably answering my own question but guess it's just the tablet running out of processer power?

Transcoding isn't really an option as picture quality is a little poor too say the least!

Not familiar with the Nexus 10 but I agree it is probably short on processing power. My iPad 2 can't stream HD so don't feel left out:D

Have you tried turning on hardware acceleration in the media player?

Tried both the HW & HW+ options in MX player without joy.

Guess I'll just have to live with SD until someone improves the transcoding plugin:) or dig out & boot up the old laptop

try using the BSPlayer app available from Google Play on your nexus 10, works fine for me on the nexus 7
