Playback was not working well so I restarted the box (via the menu) and on restart the Filelist is now empty.
When I navigate to /media/hdd/movie this is also empty.
I notice from dmesg that...
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Unhandled sense code
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda]
Result: hostbyte=0x00 driverbyte=0x08
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda]
Sense Key : 0x3 [current] [descriptor]
Descriptor sense data with sense descriptors (in hex):
72 03 11 04 00 00 00 0c 00 0a 80 00 00 00 00 00
00 00 00 d8

sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] CDB:
cdb[0]=0x28: 28 00 00 00 00 d8 00 00 02 00
end_request: I/O error, dev sda, sector 216
ata1: EH complete
isofs_fill_super: bread failed, dev=sda1, iso_blknum=52, block=104
UDF-fs: warning (device sda1): udf_fill_super: No partition found (1)
So it looks like my hard disc can't be read. But it does seem to be accessible...

Is there any way this could be recoverable? (Sorry I have no knowledge of Linux disc utilities)
