using wifi on xp1000 (dongle not recognised)

hi, I have used a belking g dongle on my xp1000 (vix) before and it worked but it was huge! today I bought a TP-link TL-WN725N wifi dongle, and its not being recognised, is there anything I can do like install drivers?

also found out this based on a realtek chipset and doing the lsusb command in terminal tells me its obda 8179, is this supported or could it be added if its not?

don't worry sorted now, I installed the large belkin wifi inside the xp1000 and added a transfer switch to the rear panel so I can switch between usb rear, and wifi inside.

I used the new dongle on the pc where I nicked the old belkin from :)
