All,

I setup a new groundmount recently in a location I thought would be OK but it turns out the house is catching me for all sats beyond 19e.

I have to move it to the back of the lawn about 40m from current position (which is about 30 to 40m from receiver).

Id say the min length I could get is about 70m.

Any recommendations on cables and amps etc.
Can these small amps be put in series.

I have seen mentioned else where this type of cable. Will it help ?

I think it would be easier to sell the house for one turned the other way....LOL.

Using that WF125 cable and proper compression fit F type connectors I don't think you will have any problems. Doubt that you will need an AMP.

Cheers.

Do I need a special tool for the compression fit F type plugs.

There's a cheap tool here http://www.satellitesuperstore.co.uk/satellitecable.htm#fconnectorscompression Contact them first to make sure their compression fittings fit WF125 cable as I think it's slightly chunkier.
