View Full Version : [VU+ Duo] TuxBox not working

I'm trying to use tuxbox on Vix3.0 build 667.
I've installed the following extensions from plugins feed:
Tuxboxolugins (2.8+git13793)
Tuxcom (1.13+svn2+r2)
Tuxterm (0.2+svn257-r1)

But even after restarting Enigma2 or complete receiver restart they're not working.
If I choose tuxcom the screen does a a zap zoom of the plugin list (icons enlarges in the right side of the screen) and then I'm back at the plugin browser.

If I choose TuxTerm the plugin browser disappears showing the current channel. The duo does not respond to any remote command. After about 30 sec since pressing exit button the Duo goes back to plugin browsers.

Any clue?

Just want to add that I've tested on a second DUO and it behaved in the same way.

On both receivers I use Magic Noire skin

Tuxcommander let you edit files right from the receiver. Or move/ copy them.
For example let's say you've forgotten your custom FTP/telnet password.
Using tuxcommander there's a way to to this.

But before posting the instructions I'd like to test it on Vix image.

At present tux plugins present in feeds are not working at all for me

Just found a discussion on OpnePli forum describing the some behaviour on DUO.
The last post on that board is back to 2011 !!!

Nope, if it is indeed driver support that is required, only VU+ could fix it.

Could you please check if Tuxboxolugins work now under Zeus?

As soon I'll have time to upgrade to Zeus I'll check.
For now I'm fine stable on 3.0 b808.
