venton hd1 vs vu solo

The venton HD+1 is a far better receiver than the Vu+ solo.

it has a faster processor.
modular tuners allowing you to make it into a twin tuner
its also one of the very few receivers able to use a DVBt/2t internal tuner card for use with HD freeview channels, the Vu's cant even do this.
it has more ram and nand flash than the solo as well.

basically for the price there is very little to rival this receiver at the moment.

Yes, exactly the same across all ViX images.

1 more question, when ftp is it user name root, then whats password and port number

just bought 1 off wos

FTP user = root
Password is left blank across all images.
Port = 21 across all images.
