Hdd installation

Just bought a new vu+ duo Pre installed with the vix image from world of sat.. Great service thank you

I want to install a used 3.5 data hdd do I need to reflash it to the original image or can I install the hdd and format, initialise with this image

You can just install it then initialize the hdd.you can check in mounts after its initialized.in the vix menu...short press blue buton/vix:)
