I'm a newbe,I have a few problems editing my channel list on my TM2TOE.I went in to>AutoBouquetsMaker>Providers and selected Sky Ireland /UK etc and done a scan. Now i have these channels but there still all over the place .Can i edit these and have Favourites the way i want or should i have FTP the channel list to the receiver as per your tutorial? The other thing is i can't record to a hdd the message i keep on getting is
"The directory/hdd/timeshift/is not a EXT2,EXT3,EXT4 or NFS partition.Make sure you select a valid partition type".When i go into Timeshift setting i can't see my hdd in the locations? If any one has any helpful info would be great.:)

1) go back to Menu -> Setup -> Service Searching -> AutoBouquetsMaker -> Configure & choose Setup mode = expert.
Then go back to the Providers screen & you will have a lot more options, including generate main bouquet = favourites (or anything else you want)

2) format the HDD using the box so it's in EXT4 format & timeshift will work on it.

Menu -> Setup -> System -> Hard disk -> Initialisation.

If it's mounted already, you should unmount it first.
Blue button -> ViX -> Mount Manager -> yellow button.

You really don't like reading advice given to you or reading tutorials pointed out to you, do you?
Have a look in the settings editors section for dream box edit, or sit back & learn to use your remore & menus on the box...
or re-read http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?28425-ccam-menu-on-a-Technomate&p=213010&viewfull=1#post213010

Sorry, didn't mean to offend you.
We were all newbies once & lots of us still are.
Take your time reading the tutorials & answers provided rather than jumping in head first with every question & you'll probably come up to speed a lot faster & hopefully be helping other folks out here soon enough.

Are you trying to create a folder on your C drive? If so, run DBeditor as Administrator.

If just using 28.2, you should try AutoBouquetMaker.
