Hello everybody,
Here a new version of NeoNOVUM: NeoNOVUM_HD.
Integrated screnns for EMC, CoolGuide...
The skin have two Channellists- Standard and Simple (screenshots). For changing the channellists: channellist/ then press menu and there you have to go to setup/configuration; here you have to choose between Standard and Simple channellist. The skin looks very good with the XPicons (for downloading you find the link/Zip in EraNeoX/myNOVUM_HD-threads).
After unpack:
-the folder NeoNOVUM_HD via FTP to the box: usr/share/enigma2.
-open the folder Renderer and then the file SingleEpgList.pyo via FTP to the box: usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer.

Hi, how can I move the channel list to the right a bit? It doesn't seem to sit in its designated "grey box". It's very, very close to the edge. Yes, I could adjust the OSD position but I only want to move the list and not the whole thing.

Nashu, I like the new layout but the channel names in the channel list still appear way too close to the edge of the screen. Can this be moved from where the red line is to the green line? Or let me know the screen name and widget/element that I need to edit?

Hello captain jack,
The most people have the channelnumbers in the list and this looks like in the screenshots. You don't use this :).
The screens are SimpleChannelSelection and SlimChannelSelection and the widget is called "list". Greetings.

You're right but I have so many channels in my lists that I find numbering a little pointless. I made some changes so it looks slightly more to my liking :)

It looks really really great Nashu. Thank you. I have a couple of minor observations
1. Have you had a look at the graphical EPG - IMHO the default "green" for current programs and the channel selected colour are not in keeping with the rest of the skin - font colours good. Again IMHO - Vix Night HD theme for the EPG only would be a nearer and sympathetic theme match?
2. I cannot find ECM info anywhere
3. Last observation relates to TV button (bottom left of VU+ remote) whilst in Graphical EPG. The normal function is to bring up the "bouquet list", and then you can change the Graphical EPG for the selected bouquet listing. The only way I have been able to do this is by first selecting the bouquet before the Grapghical EPG - not good if you are watching something and perhaps want to start a record or just see whats on using the Graphical EPG?

Apologies for "double post" Nashu. I also noted that "direct channel input" is simply the "channel #" in a Black Box. IMHO an overlay or transparency like the skin would be nicer, and to display the channel name before the "zap" would also enhance the look.
In point 2. above I mentioned ECM - correction I should have perhaps said Crypto information?

Hi there captain jack, Thank you very much for the update. It would be really great if you can give me all of the dependencies that this / Neo Series supports or enhances the skin? I see the following from a different post:

Hi Nashu - looks very good, nice graphical EPG.
Perhaps it is by design, but when you press TV for Bouquet List, the "layout" is very compressed - I have to go menu / Settings / Number of rows and reduce from 16 -> 8 or so for things to be good - on your myNovum Skin, this is not the case.
Also I would be very grateful if you or @ captain jack could look again at the "ECM" issue. There is indeed space below the crypto icons, but no info. I have placed the file attached as follows: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter/DMCHDCaidDisplay.pyo

I have a very strange small item to report about the "Zap To" Channel name for RTE Two. On the NeoNovum and myNovum skins it displays as RTE TO (TO instead of TWO). On your EraNeoX skin the display is correct, as it is for the default ViX Night HD skin. See attached pictures.

Just going to this thread for the first time..
But it seems one needs to install some render, but i lost track.
Perhaps it's handy to include the render in the skin directory, so one does not have to look around the thread which ones need to be installed

Take a look at piconbg size, for QuickEpg this works only okay with the folowing code(see 2nd screenie for result)

For the picons you resized in MultiEpg I am not sure it will work like the standard format 100,60 like above.Perhaps this is due to the code in picon and piconbg renderer.
In that case i think it would be better not to use piconbg, cause it gaves a strange square around the picon

Update: In some screens you miss open bouquetlist with Tv button as in GraphicalEPGPIG
You need that option and find those also in EpgselctionMulti, and GraphicalInfoBarEPG in Vix skins

Andy has now added this skin to the GIT for the OE-Alliance, it will be kept updated by Rob van der Does as ans when nashu posts new updates here, this skin will be available from the feeds from the next image build ( 694 plus ).

I think its important to read the post and also react on PM to streamline.

When usin github, one always wants to use the latest skin.xml file. So if you chang or add new stuff, you need to continue with the latets skin.xml on github.
No big harm done, but its just good to know and communicate.
I think that's why Rob is waiting for answer on PM to streamline in a good way.

I use a version with running text. This version ist not for feed /Git; it is just for fun. All screens with descriptions have now a running text- infobar, secondinfobar, movie selection and player, all EPGs, channellists etc. The skin via FTP to the box: usr/share/enigma2. The directory for the renderer: usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer. Greetings.

It has no use to rename original picon renderer into Vixpicon renderer and end up with double renderers.
So i suggest to use the original picon render as before in skin.xml

In the screens with Runningtext: now is stopping the text after two/three times running.
A short description in EPG or channellist does not more running now.

For the weather you need from feed the Weather Plugin (extensions) and the weathercomponenthandler (system plugins). After download you have to set up your prefered city in the Weather Plugin. After that please restart the box.
