Help with CCcam!!

Hi all,
Recently my Solo went for a S**T, due to a memory problem, so I had to do a complete reflash.
Problem being I went straight in at the deep end!!
I have looked at the guides about installing CCcam, I have downloaded the IPK, but that's where I'm snookered.
I would really appreciate someone's help.
Keep it stupid/simple please...

first of all, what image are you using?

EDIT: Sorry, didn't realise this was posted in the ViX section...
Download ViX compatible cam from http://openvix.co.uk
Either put it on a USB stick & insert it in the box while watching live TV, a pop-up will be displayed asking you if you want to install it.
Or, ftp it to /tmp/ and blue button -> ViX -> Install local extension.

Then ftp your Cccam.cfg to /etc/

Blue button -> Softcam Manager & enable the cam.

FTP'd to etc folder on box.
Still not seeing CCcam on STB.
Getting frustrating now!
Any ideas...

Did you ftp the ipk file into the tmp folder.. ??

Do Not restart the box..

Press Blue button..
Softcam manger..
Green button to start cam..
Then Blue to enable auto restart..

Not got a card, have a share from in law.
Hes at offshore for next 2-3 months, so this why I'm enquiring.
